It's tempting to compare price per foot of rail and call it a day. That approach misses most of the real cost.
In spring 2022, we awarded a 47 kW ground mount project to a cheaper racking supplier. The quote looked good, and the rails came in noticeably below Ironridge. On the purchase order, we saved money.
